Now A User-Friendly IBA 2006
By Maria Pilar Clark
In anticipation of iba 2006, the leading international trade fair for bakers and confectioners to be held at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from October 3-9, the Web site (www.iba.de) has been expanded and improved for easier navigation and information retrieval.
At the click of a mouse, visitors to the Web site can access comprehensive information related to various show happenings, including registration, required documentation, press releases, dates and hotel addresses and phone numbers. The Web site was redesigned with user-friendliness in mind — a complete sitemap helps visitors and exhibitors to access all of the information they need in a fast and targeted fashion.
GHM of Munich, the trade-fair company commissioned to oversee iba 2006, also is offering a full booking service online to allow visitors and exhibitors to reserve meeting and conference rooms throughout the fair. Dates, conference technology, signage, modern connections and even tickets can be reserved online, aiding iba show-goers in their professional planning and management of presentations, conferences and meetings.
Stagnito Acquires Upcoming Food Safety Summit
Stagnito Communications Inc., an Ascend Media Co., has purchased the Food Safety Summit from Eaton Hall Exhibitions, Florham Park, N.J.
The Food Safety Summit is North America’s biggest trade show and conference program serving retailers, processors, foodservice professionals and government personnel who are involved in food safety, quality assurance and food security.
