Nature’s Pride Bread unveils informational packaging

August 9, 2012

Nature's Pride, Irving, Texas, a brand of 100% natural breads, is introducing new packaging for its wide-pan Hearty Breads featuring simplified nutritional benefits to help consumers make healthy, better informed choices.

“At Nature's Pride, we know making sense of nutritional information can be challenging for busy consumers looking for naturally delicious foods," said Stacey Schultz, Nature’s Pride brand manager. “So we’ve made it easier [for them] to learn about the nutritional benefits of our breads with easy-to-read nutritional facts and icons on all of our popular Hearty Bread varieties.”

The new packaging clearly highlights that each slice of Nature’s Pride 100% Whole Wheat contains 22 g. of whole grains, contains no high fructose corn syrup and is a good source of fiber. On new Hearty Wheat with Flax packaging, consumers can easily see that the 100% natural bread is baked with pure olive oil and is a good source of Omega 3 ALA.

All the Hearty Bread varieties—Nutty Oat, 12-Grain, Healthy Multi-Grain, Country White, Double Fiber, Stone Ground Whole Wheat with Honey and Country Buttermilk—feature helpful new nutritional call-outs and are available at grocery stores across the country. The new packaging will soon be expanded to all Nature’s Pride bread and roll varieties. For more information, visit http://www.naturespridebread.com
