Improving your dough consistency webinar

BNP Media, Troy, Mich., owner of Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery, is offering a free webinar on April 11 titled “Improve Your Dough Consistency and Turn Instant Feedback Into Instant Payback.”

Sponsored by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bannockburn, Ill., the hour-long event will start at 2 p.m. EDT and feature Darrel Butler, Escan technical sales specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Jed Harvey, P.E., engineering manager/principal at Go Technologies Inc., Atlanta.

Butler and Harvey will discuss the benefits of making real-time masa moisture measurements by using Thermo Fisher Scientific’s µscan inline multi-constituent analyzer. The pair will highlight how automatic masa moisture control can improve manufacturers’ bottom line when used in conjunction with a close-loop control system. They’ll also cover the unique attributes and advantages of using µscan’s guided microwave technology (GMS).

Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery editor-in-chief Lauren Hartman will moderate the event, which will include a live question-and-answer period.
