Twizzlers Straws aims to tap into dirty soda trend
The brand's LTO flavor blends vanilla, lime, and coconut notes.

Hershey's Twizzlers brand has introduced a new flavor of Twizzlers Straws, inspired by the "dirty soda" trend (mixing standard sodas with flavored syrups, cream, and often lime juice). Featuring a blend of vanilla, lime, and coconut notes, the straws are designed to be enjoyed as both an edible straw and a sweet treat.
Rather than simply referencing the trend, Twizzlers designed a product that could participate in the experience itself. The ritual is simple, according to the brand:
- Pour your favorite soda
- Add your favorite dirty soda mix-ins
- Sip through a Twizzlers Straw
- Bite, chew, and repeat
The Twizzlers Straws will be available in limited quantities at shop.hersheys.com (SRP: $4.49) while supplies last, with online releases designed to reward early consumers. The first round happened March 12, and a second will occur March 22 in select major cities including Boston, New York, and Philadelphia. In addition to online releases, consumers can find the straws at select Hershey's Chocolate World locations.
At Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, Twizzlers Straws and specialty dirty soda drinks will be available during three weekends in March—March 14, March 21, and March 28. The straws will also be available at Hershey's Chocolate World in Times Square on March 31
