Mascot Inc. expands Glennville, GA facility

The company has added 5,000 pounds of capacity per shift.

Mascot Inc., a third-generation family confectioner specializing in fresh-shelled Southern pecans for snacks and handcrafted confections, has announced a major manufacturing expansion to meet surging consumer demand, it says.

The company has added 4,000 square feet of cooking space to its vertically integrated headquarters in Glennville, GA, expanding its overall footprint to nearly 200,000 square feet. This dedicated expansion specifically scales Mascot's sugar panning capacity, allowing the brand to accelerate production across its rapidly growing flavored nut portfolio.

The expansion targets signature consumer favorites, including:

  • Praline Pecans
  • Cinnamon Glazed Pecans
  • Coconut Cashews
  • Butter Toffee Peanuts

Scaling production by 5,000 pounds per shift

The expansion adds 5,000 pounds of production capacity per shift, allowing Mascot to fulfill bulk orders for national retail partners, private-label clients, and industrial ingredient buyers.

Mascot stands out in the confectionery industry for its rare, fully vertically integrated operations, it notes. By handling everything from cleaning and shelling raw pecans to cooking and packaging gourmet chocolate and peanut brittle under one roof, the company maintains absolute quality control, product consistency, and supply chain efficiency, it adds.

A legacy built on innovation
