Blue Diamond Growers kicks off its 100th Anniversary with the launching of a new historical website, www.almondhistory.com. This site features thousands of archived photos and articles, Blue Diamond recipes, nutrition information and more.

Founded in 1910 by a small group of 230 farmers, the Sacramento, Calif.-based cooperative led the development of California’s almond industry from a minor domestic crop to the world leader in almond production. In fact, more than half of California almond growers are Blue Diamond members who deliver almonds to all 50 states and more than 90 foreign countries.
