Product Snapshot: Mrs Baird’s has added Honey 7 Grain and 100% Whole Grain sandwich buns to its growing line of products. The new buns are part of the Harvest Selects line of whole and multigrain breads, which offer a distinctive taste and texture. Both the Honey 7 Grain and 100% Whole Grain are a new twist in soft buns, baked with bountiful grains and designed to appeal to those wanting to dress up the typical sandwich. Mrs Baird’s also has introduced Whole Grain White hamburger and hot dog buns.

The Doublicious Butterscotch Krimpets feature the classic moist, fluffy Krimpet with twice the creamy butterscotch icing. The Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes are double-stuffed with the peanut butter filling that has made this snack a classic since 1935.

Product Snapshot: Natural food products company Kashi has unveiled the first natural crunchy granola bars, TLC Crunchy Granola Bars. The bars will be available in Honey Toasted 7 Grain, Roasted Almond Crunch and Pumpkin Spice Flax varieties. Kashi’s TLC bars have twice the fiber, more protein and less sugar than other granola bars on the market. They also are free from artificial ingredients such as high-fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils.

The 90-calorie snacks are made with 70% organic ingredients and sweetened only with organic agave nectar, which is friendly to diabetics.
