The Snack Food Association (SFA) invites attendees to “Saddle Up for Success” at the SNAXPO 2016 Conference and Exhibition, taking place March 19 to 22 at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Hilton Americas, Houston. Devoted exclusively to the international snack food industry, the annual trade show will showcase the latest equipment, technology, ingredients, products and services aimed at improving snack manufacturers’ operations.

An estimated 1,500 industry professionals from around the world, including leading manufacturers and suppliers from all areas of the snack food industry, are expected to attend SNAXPO 2016. In addition, more than 150 exhibitors—the central focus of SNAXPO—are expected.

SNAXPO’s educational programs and exhibit schedule are tailored to create opportunities for suppliers to meet contacts face-to-face, create sales leads and explore future business opportunities. Trade show hours do not compete with other events.

SNAXPO creates opportunities for extensive, one-on-one meetings with snack food professionals from all over the world. Exhibitors can benefit from additional interactions with customers by attending general sessions, evening functions and special entertainment events.

The exhibit hall in the George R. Brown Convention Center will be open on Sunday, March 20, from 11:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Monday, March 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Tuesday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Exhibitors will enjoy special promotional considerations, including a preview of their booth and a link to their company website on SFA’s member web page. Exhibitors also will receive two complimentary, full package registrations with a 10-foot-by-10-foot booth. With each additional 10-foot-by-10-foot booth, exhibitors will receive one complimentary exhibit hall pass. Exhibitors are provided complimentary customer passes for current and prospective snack manufacturing customers to visit the exhibit hall on any or all show days.

The event will also feature:

  • A variety of educational programs
  • Timely speakers
  • Networking opportunities
  • Special events

Joe Scarborough will deliver the SNAXPO 2016 keynote address. Scarborough is the current host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, and a lawyer, author and former politician. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Florida from 1995 to 2001.

SNAXPO will also feature multiple Latin American educational sessions to provide insight into the dynamics of that growing snack market.

SNAXPO will feature many ways for snack companies to build new business, generate quality leads and promote their brands—especially as an exhibitor and/or sponsor. Four tiers of event sponsorship are available, as are a number of specific sponsorship opportunities. Companies ranging from small startups to multinational corporations can benefit from having a strong presence at SNAXPO, positioning themselves as category leaders committed and dedicated to advancing the snack food industry.

The Hilton Americas-Houston will serve as the host hotel for SNAXPO 2016. The hotel is conveniently located downtown and directly connected via two covered sky bridges to the George R. Brown Convention Center. The reservation deadline is Thursday, Feb. 25, or when the room block sells out.
