The conference features technical environmental presentations delivered in a general session format, poster sessions that offer excellent networking opportunities and the opportunity to participate in a Technical Tour to either the University of California-San Diego Energy Innovation Center or the Miramar Naval Air Station. About the Food & Beverage Environmental Conference
The Food and Beverage Environmental Conference occurs annually and is organized by food and beverage processors and their environmental consultant partners for the benefit of the food and beverage industry. Attendees generally represent the engineering disciplines that focus on implementing environmental solutions to achieve compliance and environmental sustainability. Food and beverage environmental professionals are joined by their environmental consultant partners and academia in a non-threatening, casual atmosphere that allows for the free flow of information, ideas and networking. Appealing features of the conference includes a single general session, all meals together, poster sessions, social hours, networking and information exchange, all in a casual no neckties policy environment. There are no publishing of proceedings of the conference as it was felt that useful information would be more forth coming if it could be presented openly and honestly, and not in writing that would have to be sanitized by legal teams.
