Plant managers and production supervisors face unprecedented challenges in today's economy, and meeting those challenges requires competitive skills and strategies. AIB International's Production/Operations Management seminar provides participants with the management concepts critical to success in the baking industry.
AIB is offering the Production/Operations Management seminar on August 6-10, 2012. The seminar is based on a business competition model, the "GAME," in which teams use provided information to make decisions about sales, production, quality assurance, training, sanitation, and preventative maintenance. Only one team can win the "GAME," but each participants wins when they apply the data analysis and decision making skills they have learned to their own facility's needs.
The participant will learn to analyze financial statements, understand causes and effects of fund allocations, review cost reduction strategies and tactics, discuss leadership strategies and tactics, review ways to effectively delegate work, and present and explain business strategies.
The Production/Operations Management seminar is part of each of the AIB Career Path Programs: Bread and Rolls, Cake and Sweet Goods, Cookies and Crackers, and Ingredient Suppliers.
