The National Confectionery Sales Association (NCSA) is now accepting nominations for the Candy Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Since 1971, the NCSA has annually inducted a new class of confectionery industry leaders who have made remarkable contributions to the category. Nominations are open on the Candy Hall of Fame website now through Monday, December 15, at 11:59 pm EST.

“The Class of 2026 marks a major milestone as the NCSA’s 55th Candy Hall of Fame class, and we are proud to continue this long-standing legacy,” says Byard Ebling, NCSA president. “Each year, the Candy Hall of Fame allows us to honor those who have dedicated their careers to advancing the confectionery category. This recognition not only celebrates their contributions, but also helps fuel growth within our industry.”

Individuals across all disciplines within the confectionery industry may be nominated for induction into the Candy Hall of Fame, including but not limited to sales, engineering, marketing, purchasing, R&D, manufacturing, and technology, as well as individuals who work in support of the industry, including brokers, educators, retailers, distributors and equipment, and ingredient and materials suppliers.

To be eligible, the nominee must meet the following criteria:

  • Twenty years of service to the confectionery industry (buyers must have at least 10 years of experience) and 50 years of age at the time of nomination.
  • Demonstrated loyalty to building and supporting the confectionery industry through active participation over and above job requirements.
  • Significant contributions to the educational and/or professional development of the industry and its initiatives and programs.
  • Must attend the Candy Hall of Fame induction event (unless it is a posthumous induction), which will take place October 22-24, 2026, in Orlando, FL.
  • Unimpeachable record of integrity and respect.
  • A current NCSA member.
  • If retired or deceased, the nomination must be within two years of either event.

Nominations are welcome from any source and must include proof that the criteria above have been met. Additionally, letters of support from people familiar with a nominee’s qualifications can be submitted. The nominations are then reviewed and individuals selected by the Candy Hall of Fame Selection Committee and approved by the NCSA Board of Directors.

The 2026 class will be formally inducted during the NCSA’s annual gathering, taking place October 22-24 in Orlando, FL, at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, with the official induction ceremony held on Saturday, October 24.
