NCA announces Woman of Influence Award winner
This year's recipient is director of the value channel at Mars Snacking North America.

The National Confectioners Association (NCA) and its Women’s Leadership Group announced Arsh Ghuman, director of the value channel at Mars Snacking North America, as the recipient of the 2026 Woman of Influence Award. This honor recognizes Ghuman’s leadership, advocacy, and contributions to advancing women across the confectionery industry, NCA says.
“Arsh is a dynamic, engaging leader with a reputation for integrity and passion for inclusivity,” says John Downs, president and CEO of the National Confectioners Association. “I have had the honor of watching Arsh grow her career since she was a member of our 2018 Future Leaders class, and can say with certainty that her commitment to mentorship and drive to elevate the next generation of leaders make her an extraordinary role model. We are thrilled to recognize her with this well-deserved honor.”
Ghuman’s leadership reflects her belief in empowerment, collaboration, and advocacy at every level of the business, NCA adds.
“Receiving this award is an incredible honor,” Ghuman says. “I’m grateful for the women who paved the way, the allies who stand beside me, and the chance to help build a more inclusive future.”
Ghuman is a business leader in the value channel at Mars Snacking, where she aims to support national sales strategy, deepen customer partnerships, and drive planning and execution across key retailers. Her career reportedly spans sales, brand management, licensing, e-commerce, and strategy, contributing to improved performance, elevated brand presence, and strengthened collaboration across a diverse confectionery portfolio.
As co-chair of the Women & Allies Associate resource group at Mars Snacking, Ghuman leads initiatives that expand opportunities for women and promote diverse representation across the organization. She is an alumna of NCA’s Future Leadership Program and is committed to developing emerging talent through mentoring, advocacy, and purpose-driven leadership, NCA notes.
Established in 2021 by NCA’s Women’s Leadership Group, the Woman of Influence Award honors female leaders with exceptional mentorship, leadership, and influence in the confectionery industry. The award will be presented at NCA’s 2026 State of the Industry Conference in Orlando, FL.
