Product Snapshot: With winter and the holiday season fast-approaching, people are constantly looking for nourishing and delicious snacks to help fuel them through the day, without consuming lots of extra calories. Quaker Popped rice snacks from Quaker Oats Co., a division of PepsiCo, are made with whole-grain brown rice and corn and have 10-13 g. of whole grain and 0 g. of trans-fat per serving. Formerly known as Quaker Quakes, the bite-sized snacks are popped, not fried, which means less fat compared to some fried snacks. Consumers can choose from 14 flavors, including three new offerings: Cheddar Cheese, Caramel Corn and Apple Cinnamon.
