Roquette announces strategic partnership with Continental Ingredients Canada

November 13, 2013

Geneva, Ill.-based Roquette America Inc., a global leader in renewable, plant-based raw materials, has forged a strategic partnership with Continental Ingredients Canada (CIC) and plans to build a global platform for functional ingredients, effective April 2014.

Located in Oakville, Ontario, CIC is a privately-owned company that specializes in the design and application of functional food ingredient systems for food and beverage products. It will now service Roquette products in Canada.

“Today’s announcement of our partnership with CIC is a great example of Roquette’s continued commitment to providing our human nutrition customers with a wide range of products and services,” says Anthony Sberna, Human Nutrition Business Unit manager for Roquette America. “This new partnership between Roquette and CIC is an important step in developing innovative solution-based ingredients, formulation design and cost control. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to providing our customers with excellent service.”
