BBU Inc., Horsham, Pa., parent of Bimbo Bakeries companies, has initiated a voluntary regional recall of hamburger and hog dog rolls due to the possible presence of metal fragments caused by a faulty manufacturing part at one North Carolina bakery.

Recalled products are fresh rolls with “Best By” dates (month and day) and UPC codes distributed in the states listed below. The recalled packages also contain the bakery code next to the printed “Best By” date.

The company announced the recall after discovering the faulty part in the bakery. No consumer reports have been received, and there are no reports of injury.

All recalled products are being removed from store shelves. No other products are affected.

Consumers who have purchased any of these products can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions can contact the company at 800-984-0989 at any time 24 hours a day.
