Angelic Bakehouse breaks ground on new Wisconsin facility

Angelic Bakehouse, Waukesha, Wis., celebrated the groundbreaking of its new production facility in Cudahy, Wis., today. Participating in the ceremony were President and CEO of Angelic Bakehouse Jenny Marino, Executive Vice President James Marino, Cudahy Mayor John Hohenfeldt, Cudahy Director of Economic Development Brian Biernat and other dignitaries.

Located at 3275 E. Layton Ave., the new 22,000-sq.-ft., $2.3 million facility will help the family-owned business meet the growing demand for its sprouted grain products, including breads, buns, rolls, pizza dough and specialty items. The company expects to relocate its operation and start production in Cudahy this fall.

“The city of Cudahy has welcomed us with open arms, and we’re very anxious to become a part of the community,” says Jenny Marino. “I applaud Mayor Hohenfeldt, Economic Director Biernat and other city officials for working with us as partners in this effort. Cudahy is a great community, and we look forward to much success and growth at this location. Our new facility helps position us for further expansion into the national market as more and more consumers seek delicious sprouted grain products to fit with a healthy lifestyle. We’re proud to be partners with Cudahy.”
