In the cool, marine climate of the Pacific Northwest, Washington produces approximately 90 percent of the nation’s frozen red raspberry crop. The Washington Red Raspberry Commission (WRRC) creates a positive future for Washington red raspberry growers through research, marketing and advocacy. In doing so, the WRRC works toward its vision of bringing the integrity and passion of Washington red raspberry growers to people around the world. Composed of approximately 80 growers and more than a dozen processors, the Washington red raspberry industry is committed to growing, harvesting and processing the highest quality berries in the world, and meeting the most stringent quality standards on the planet.
