Cargill, Minneapolis — Mary Thompson becomes vice president and general manager of Cargill’s Dry Corn Ingredients business. Thompson is responsible for the growth and management of Cargill’s dry milled corn and masa products, including the MaizeWise family of whole grain products and InnovaSure identity-preservation services.
CSM Bakers Supplies North America, Totowa, N.J. — Ron Savelli moves up to president of Caravan Products Co., Inc., effective Feb. 25, 2006. John Stone, who became president of Caravan in 2000, is leaving the company.
General Mills Bakeries & Foodservice, Minneapolis — Ann Simonds is appointed vice president and general manager of Bakery Channels. Simonds will oversee all Bakery Channels businesses, which include Supermarket Bakery, Bakery Ingredients, Fresh Bread Solutions, SuperCenter and Club Channels, Convenient Solutions and Wholesale Sweet Goods.
Roman Meal Co., Tacoma, Wash. — Todd Kluger joins as brand manager, with direct responsibility for all Roman Meal branded products. Kluger reports to Mary Jane Hominda, Roman Meal’s vice president of brand management.
