Release of Forever Chocolate Progress Report 2019/20: Barry Callebaut reduces carbon footprint by –8.1 percent
Barry Callebaut has made great progress on its journey to become carbon positive by 2025. Its carbon reduction efforts in fiscal year 2019/20 have resulted in a –8.1 percent reduction of our corporate carbon footprint, from 8.5 million tons to 7.8 million tons CO2e (carbon equivalents).
These achievements are highlighted in its Forever Chocolate Progress Report 2019/20, which the company recently published. It is its fourth Report since the launch of Forever Chocolate in 2016, listing its progress towards the goal of making sustainable chocolate the norm by 2025. Its progress data shows we are creating impact in unprecedented times.
