Equipment Snapshot: Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME is a food grade lubricant with solids that provides advanced protection for oven chains at extreme temperatures, while supporting the path to food safety.

Traditionally, baking oven operators lubricate chains with either a food-grade formulation that evaporates at extreme temperatures and requires constant relubrication, or a lubricant with a solid is used that withstands extreme temperatures and extends lubrication intervals, at the sacrifice of the lubricant no longer being registered by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) as food-grade H1. Now, for either situation, the advanced formulation of Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME provides excellent high temperature performance and reduced consumption, along with an NSF H1 registration and ISO 21469 certification.

Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME contains NSF registered white solid lubricants. The solid lubricant protects chains even at extreme temperatures. Other lubricants, even high performance options, can still begin to evaporate at 500 to 600°F (260-315°C). With a solid lubricant formulation, the solid particles become impregnated into the chain, which can substantially extend lubrication intervals. The lubricant is also NSF H1 registered for incidental contact, providing a food-grade solution to the challenge of using chain lubricants at extreme temperatures.

In operation, Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME offers good wetting properties and excellent penetration with high dispersion stability. It is ideal for ovens used to produce tortillas, pita bread, pizza dough and other baked goods where the conveyor chain is exposed to extreme temperatures, even up to 1200°F (650°C).

Beyond NSF H1, the ISO 21469 certification of Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME certifies that the lubricant has been manufactured and packaged using fully hygienic standards.
