The American Bakers Association (ABA) has announced that the 2017 Fall Policy Conference will be held in Washington, D.C., Sept. 25-27, 2017. The conference is a nexus for baking industry professionals to gather for advocacy education, policy track discussions segmented by ABA Committee focus, Capitol Hill visits with relevant elected officials, and networking with peers and members of Congress. With bakers and suppliers gathering in the nation’s capital at one time, industry professionals can develop solutions to business challenges that require their daily attention and can network with industry peers, as well as with elected officials whose policy votes matter to bottom lines.
“Between working with peers on the issues facing the industry and going to Capitol Hill to speak firsthand with policymakers whose decisions impact the baking business, the Fall Policy Conference is an event like no other,” said ABA president & CEO Robb MacKie. “With our new, unified membership I expect the industry’s voice to be stronger and the participants’ experience to be better than ever.”
