Cadbury marks the 40th anniversary of Trident Sugarless Gum with a reformulation incorporating new, long-lasting flavor technology, updated package graphics, strengthened dental credentials, and a new flavor—Crystal Frost. Trident now features a greater level of xylitol, a naturally occurring, and low-calorie sweetener touted by dentists for its oral care benefits. Clinical studies have shown that chewing gum containing xylitol helps reduce cavities, according to the company. The updated packaging includes the statement, “Cleans & Protects Teeth.”

Hot and spicy PopArt Habanero Hot Pops come in assorted fruit flavors—Habanero Orange, Habanero Apple and Habanero Lime. Each 2-inch, 1.5-ounce lollipop is individually wrapped in a clear PopArt cellophane package. Distributor price is 67 cents per unit and suggested retail price is $1.99.

Cadbury Adams targets teen-agers with two new flavor combinations in Trident sugarless gum. Strawberry Fusion features six pieces each of sweet and sour strawberry flavors, and Wintergreen Fusion contains six pieces each of extreme and mellow flavors. Consumers can customize their taste experience by mixing different combinations of the gum. Trident is sweetened with xylitol, which is considered healthy for teeth. The colorful, 12-piece pellet pack has a suggested retail price of 89 cents.

Cinnabon Pecan Clusters and Cinnabon Pecan Rolls, created through a multi-year co-branding alliance between Standard Candy Co. and Cinnabon Inc., will be distributed through grocery, mass and drug outlets as well as 600 Cinnabon bakeries in 43 states. The milk chocolate-covered cinnamon caramel and sugared pecan Cinnabon Pecan Clusters come in a 4.2-ounce box of six and have a suggested retail price of $2.99. Individually wrapped Cinnabon Pecan Rolls in a 2.97-ounce box retail for $1.99.
