The Wright Group acquired a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Plain City, Ohio, to enhance supply security and manufacturing flexibility in the event of natural disasters and other adverse events.



The Wright Group acquired a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Plain City, Ohio. The completion of this purchase underscores Wright’s ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality of service and innovation for its clients, while enhancing supply security and manufacturing flexibility in the event of natural disasters and other adverse events.

The new facility will add an additional 55,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehousing to its current 250,000-sq.-ft. facility in Crowley, La. The new site will also be home to 80-plus workers within the next two years. The facility maintains state-of-the-art liquid and dry blending capacity with additional space to expand if necessary. The facility also houses an applications R&D center for the development of functional foods. It is circle U Kosher, Halal, cGMP and will be FSSC 22000 certified before the end of 2011.
