Product Snapshot: Sara Lee expanded its Soft & Smooth line of better-for-you bread options with a Soft & Smooth Made with DHA Omega-3 kind. Available in 100% Whole Wheat and Made with Whole Grain White varieties, the new bread type contains 12 mg of DHA Omega-3 per two-slice serving and at least 10% of suggested daily amount for kids, according to the Institute of Medicine’s standards.
Ingredients (Whole Grain White): Enriched bleached flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate [Vitamin B1], riboflavin [Vitamin B2], folic acid), water, whole grain (whole wheat flour, brown rice flour [rice flour, rice bran]), wheat gluten, high-fructose corn syrup, yeast, sugar.
