Product Snapshot: Skinny Dipped Almonds, a Seattle-based, women-owned and run start-up success that introduced the better-for-you chocolate covered almond, debuts two new fall flavors: Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Spice and Greek Yogurt Orange Cranberry. The new flavors will be available exclusively at select Target stores nationwide mid-September 2018.

Known as the surprisingly nutritious snack, Skinny Dipped Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Spice and Greek Yogurt Orange Cranberry Almonds are the first Skinny Dipped products that feature creamy Greek yogurt as the base. Both delectable and healthy, these treats are made from whole roasted almonds with a touch of sea salt and organic maple sugar, dipped in a skinny layer of Greek yogurt that’s the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Each almond is finished with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice or pure orange and cranberry. With just 9 grams of sugar and only 160 calories, Skinny Dipped has half the sugar of normal yogurt covered almonds.

Skinny Dipped Almonds was founded by mother/daughter team Val and Breezy Griffith who began hand-dipping nuts at the dining room table. With a strong love for food, friends and family, Skinny Dipped successfully created a way more delicious, balanced and healthy alternative to traditional chocolate covered almonds—known for a thick, waxy shell, containing nearly 14 grams of sugar per serving—the equivalent of a doughnut.

The Greek Yogurt fall flavors will retail for $4.99 and join Skinny Dipped Almonds’ existing line of products, which include Dark Chocolate Cocoa, Dark Chocolate Espresso, Dark Chocolate Raspberry and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter. Available in 3.5 ounce and 1.5 ounce bags, Skinny Dipped Almonds are non-GMO, gluten free, pasteurized with steam and contain no artificial flavors or coloring, no wax or shellac.
