Invented in Gouda in the late 18^th century, Stroopwafels have grown beyond the most popular bakery product in the Netherlands, and are now ready to satisfy America’s increasing appetite for this Dutch treat. ‘Stroop’ is the Dutch word for ‘syrup’; but not typical breakfast syrup! The 3Bros stroopwafels are the original Dutch recipe, made with butter and sugar beet molasses, which is then spread inside a pressed cinnamon wafer cookie.

3Bros was founded by Leslie and Guido Vliegen to encourage the bonding of their three sons joined by marriage and different cultures, teaching them valuable life skills. They started as a small company, frequenting the local farmer’s markets, but quickly they became an instant hit, and now can be found all over the state with nationwide distribution coming in the next few months.
