Mike Koch is the 2016 winner of the Kettle Award. Established in 1946 by Candy Industry Magazine. The Kettle Award represents the highest recognition an individual working within the U.S. confectionery industry can attain. Koch has been in the confectionery industry at Morley Candy Makers and Sanders Candy for more than 44 years. He has served the industry as past president of the Retail Confectioners international and a board member of the National Confectioners Association. In 2013 Koch was inducted into the National Confectioners Sales Association’s Candy Hall of Fame and currently holds a position on the association’s board of directors.
