Flowers Foods Inc., Thomasville, Ga., is set to buy Wonder Bread and some other brands owned by Hostess Brands Inc. for $360 million, according to Reuters.
Snyder’s-Lance Inc. says it will close its bakery facility in Cambridge, Ontario, effective May 17, to reduce operating costs and consolidate production into other manufacturing sites.
