So , I can’t decide if I: A: cannot wait with all my heart for the day when I can swipe my cell phone across the counter and pay for my bag of M&M’s. or B: The idea of turning my Android into “a debit card that also makes phone calls” scares the bejebus out of me.
Local candy is hard to do. It’s not as simple as local fruit, or local meat, or local milk. Candy is, at its roots, a global mixture of chocolate from down south, and sugar from the fields, and fruit from out west.
Can we get a Jolly Rancher for an A? A Snicker’s for winning a trivia game? Or how about a Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup just for showing up?Nope. No more. At least not in one school district.
The Walk to Self-Realization is apparently paved with candy. Specifically, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, FUN SIZE M&M’s and little Snicker’s bars. Also, Jolly Ranchers, Werther’s Originals, and Twizzlers.
