The food processing industry, including the snack food category, is approaching a milestone 100 years in the making – a Centennial birthday for food processors in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Working with snack industry darlings like
Tree Top, Oregon Freeze Dry, Smucker, Kettle Foods, Darigold, Tim’s Cascade Chips, Bridgetown Natural Foods, Mondelez International, Small Planet Foods, Del Monte, and SunRype, the Northwest Food Processors Association has come a long way in the last century, supporting the turnout of some of the industry’s most well-known innovations and products. I would love to connect with you to talk more about how the Northwest region has contributed to snack foods in the last 100 years and gauge your interest in a story.
Additionally, we kick off the Centennial year with the Northwest Food Processors Expo and Conference January 12-15. I would like to invite you be our guest. On Sunday, January 12, we launch with a special Centennial Dinner at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland joined by invited emcee Idaho Governor Butch Otter, and Capital Steps, world class entertainers coming to us from Washington D.C. On Monday morning, following breakfast keynote speaker Tucker Carlson of Fox News and DailyCaller.com, we’ll host a press conference. And of course, you’ll have full access to the Expo and our attendees. We recently worked with Valsa Terron-Khan to do some trade advertising with Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery for this event.
