House Foods America Corp., Garden Grove, Calif., a subsidiary of House Foods Corp., Tokyo, acquired El Burrito Mexican Food Products Inc., a leading healthy Mexican food brand based in City of Industry, Calif.
The Hillshire Brands Co., Chicago, is selling Kitchens of Sara Lee Pty. Ltd. to McCain Foods Pty. Ltd., Ballarat, Australia. The transaction will enable Hillshire Brands to focus on innovation and growth in key categories.

It says that international companies have also expressed an interest in licensing the brands overseas.
