Confession: one of my favorite things to do is watch my favorite TV shows and bring some chips or another snack onto the couch with me.

We were first contacted about the new Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner chips last week, and literally the next day the box was waiting for me at my desk.

On October 11th, I was able to attend the grand re-opening of Sanders flagship Chocolate & Ice Cream Shoppe, in Clinton Township, Michigan.

About a month ago, I was able to travel to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada), to visit a quinoa field and learn more about quinoa in the industry.

Earlier this month, I was able to fly to Bismarck, North Dakota, for a 1-day trip sponsored by the National Sunflower Association (NSA). 

A few weeks ago, I was able to travel to Bellingham, Washington, for the Raspberry Harvest Tour, which was sponsored by the National Processed Raspberry Council.

Last week, I was in Vegas for IFT17, the Institute of Food Technologists' annual show, where I saw and sampled many new variations on familiar themes.

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending the "Almonds in the Rockies" trip in Boulder and Denver, Colorado, which was sponsored by the Almond Board of California.

A week or so ago, my parents and I hopped in the car and drove from Michigan to Rhode Island.

This week, I attended the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, where I was able to experience firsthand new flavor, crust, and topping innovations, as well as see new equipment and ingredients.
