Campbell Wrapper acquires George Gordon Associates, Inc.
GGA's president will remain part-time for a three-year transition period.

Campbell Wrapper Co., supplier of equipment for the snack and baking industry, has announced that it has reached an agreement with George Gordon Associates, Inc. (a.k.a. GGA Packaging, of Spofford, formerly Merrimack, NH) for Campbell to acquire the business’s assets. In addition to other areas of capability, GGA is well-known for supplying the plastic cutlery kit wrapping market, for which it has supplied full lines of equipment (wrappers, napkin folders, pouch dispensers, salt/pepper wrappers and dispensers, sugar wrappers and dispensers, and cross conveyors).
The business will be merged into Campbell’s De Pere, WI facility and Campbell will provide support to new and existing GGA customers, complementing Campbell’s line of flow wrapping and feeding equipment.
According to John Dykema, president and owner of Campbell Wrapper, “We see this as an excellent opportunity to combine expertise and thrive in the cutlery kit overwrapping and other market segments, and provide highly responsive spare parts, rebuilds, upgrades/conversions, and service support for the GGA installed base.”
Don Belanger, president of GGA, comments, “During my ownership of GGA I have developed partnerships and friendships with our customers. With Campbell Wrapper I am confident we have found the right steward for those relationships. Campbell is a company with extensive people and physical resources, but more importantly is culturally aligned with GGA in their pursuit of customer relationships that are wins for both parties. Our existing customers will be in very good hands.” Belanger will be involved part-time for three years to ensure a smooth transition.
