TIA Moves Annual Convention to Spring
To avoid scheduling conflicts with other conventions, TIA moved its next annual convention to May 25-26, 2010, in Las Vegas.
The show, titled “Thriving in the New Decade 2010 & Beyond,” will include exhibits, education sessions, golf and networking opportunities for the tortilla industry.
By moving its main annual convention to the springtime, the Tortilla Industry Association avoids a scheduling conflict with the 2010 International Baking Industry Exposition, which runs from Sept. 26-29, 2010, in Las Vegas.
Instead, TIA will hold its annual two-day technical conference in conjunction with the IBIE 2010. That smaller conference is now scheduled for September 25-26, 2010, and will be integrated into IBIE’s educational program alongside offerings from the American Institute of Baking and the Retail Bakers of America.
