Founded in 1975 by John Dominquez, Jr., Formers International has been serving the snack and food industry for 35 years.

Originally a small operation of a few skilled craftsmen focused solely on hand-made replacement form-fill-and-seal assemblies, the family-owned and operated company currently has more than 75 employees who service the packaging needs of snack and food companies.

Formers International this year moved into new facilities in Pasadena, Texas, that doubled the company’s production capacity. It also made the purchase of a new precision laser cutter to improve production speeds.

Other plans for 2010 include the implementation of the industry's first web-based ordering system and a warehousing and resale program for refurbished bag forming assemblies.
