Global packaging solutions specialist, tna, Sydney, appoints Patrick Avelange vice president for the Americas. Based in Dallas, Avelange assumes control of operations in the region, leading tna’s team, which includes customers, offices and staff from Canada through to Chile.

Avelange brings more than 15 years of experience in the packaging industry to his new role. With expertise in sales, business development and management, he also has worked in the electronic components, automotive and construction stainless steel industries.

After joining tna in 1999, Avelange held a number of key roles, most recently that of general manager for Asia. Prior to this, he opened the tna Middle East office in Dubai and helped grow its market share to make it one of the company’s three biggest revenue earning regions.

“The Americas represent a significant market for tna, and I’m delighted to be supporting our customers in this region,” says Avelange. “The role of vice president is a great honour, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise of the food and packaging industry to help the team further expand and consolidate tna’s operations here.”
