BluePrint Automation Inc., Colonial Heights, VA, has hired Rob Thompson as its Southeast regional sales manager.

Thompson has an extensive background in packaging machinery, with 25 years in the industry. He started as a distributor/service technician and moved into packaging equipment sales in 1998. He later went on to work as a regional sales manager for a major equipment manufacturer in the U.S. He has extensive knowledge of end-of-line solutions and integrations.
