Equipment Snapshot: The HCP wraparound case packer from PMI Cartoning Inc. is designed to handle cases with inner or outer fifth flaps, as well as trays of product. Custom in-feed and product-handling systems allow the HCP to run at speeds up to 30 cases per minute. The all-servo design features multi-axis servos, allowing for maximum uptime, quick changeovers and easy operation, and operator-friendly control systems and graphic terminals. In addition, the HCP is Category 3 safety-compliant and available with optional stainless steel washdown construction. Applications include food, confectionery and beverage products.
