Equipment Snapshot: The Heinkel Inverting Filter Centrifuge is the first-ever centrifuge with a filter cloth that is axially moveable, says Heinkel USA. This allows the filter cloth to be inverted while under rotation, completely discharging the solids and leaving the filter cloth free of residual cake heel, while maintaining a totally-enclosed gastight system. The centrifuge is capable of thin cake filtering and PAC direct-contact drying of material in one machine for separation and filtration.
