Product Snapshot: Pagoda Asian-snacks, marketed by Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc., recently unveiled formulation updates to its Potsticker and Crab Rangoon offerings, as well as bold new sauces, to give snack-lovers everywhere a great tasting better-for-you option to keep on hand when that Asian-food craving hits at home.

Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc. renovated the Pagoda egg roll product line in 2015 as a part of the company’s commitment to simplify ingredients in its broad portfolio of branded foods. The focus was on simplifying ingredient labels and sourcing real, high quality ingredients. And now, the entire Pagoda line meets these commitments.

All Pagoda snacks contain zero preservatives, certified artificial food colors, high-fructose corn syrup and MSG. These snacks have always featured premium meats, scratch-made crispy wrappers, and fresh cut vegetables delivered, cut, and flash frozen in-house daily.

The brand’s Potstickers now contain 60 percent less sodium; a bold new Lime Ponzu sauce, and a reformulated dough optimized for an authentic steamed experience from the microwave. Additionally, Pagoda Crab Rangoons now contain 100 percent real crab meat; 25 percent more meat and the brand’s signature sweet chili sauce.
