The new certifications establish the first internationally recognized definition of what constitutes “raw” and “clean” for packaged food products. Certified R.A.W. and Certified C.L.E.A.N. go well beyond traditional “organic” and “non-GMO” classifications to encompass a deeper review of ingredient integrity that includes ethical food production, measuring levels of bio-available enzymes, nutritional density and minimal processing.
GoMacro is among the first nationally distributed food brand to attain Certified R.A.W. and Certified C.L.E.A.N. classification for 100% of the company’s products. While a growing number of food manufacturers claim to use only natural ingredients, there has been no clear understanding or standard definition of what constitutes “raw” and “clean” food. Certified R.A.W. and Certified C.L.E.A.N. provide a new gold standard to evaluate ingredient quality and integrity.
