The newly elected roster was presented by the org's nominating committee during its Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference, April 15–17 in Bentonville, AR.

The ELC is committed to cultivating a strong network of future leaders who will aim to help shape the issues, opportunities, and long-term advancement of the U.S. flexible packaging industry. 

This marks the end of the process initiated by the Good Food board of directors in 2024 to ensure the continuation of the its brand with SFA support.

The 2026 slate was elected by the org's voting members via ballot for a one‑year term, with the exception of the chair’s two‑year term. 

The association is aiming to further position itself to ensure an impactful and high-level experience for its membership, it says.

As the 19th U.S. Trade Representative and a member of former President Biden’s cabinet, she served as the principal advisor, negotiator, and spokesperson on U.S. trade policy.

The new hire brings nearly two decades of experience in the food industry, with a career spanning several companies that make up the org's membership.

The org's annual celebration of food research, science, and technology will be held July 12–15 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The show will reportedly be the largest in its history, featuring 1.3 million net square feet of exhibit space and more than 2,600 exhibitors.
