The J&J Snack Food Corp. brand is introducing two new varieties designed to meet evolving snack habits

In addition to the new bakery products, the company is introducing two single-serving meals, also containing no gluten.  

The org is broadening the allowed uses of the claim as part of its efforts to encourage the industry to phase out petroleum-based synthetic food dyes.

The products, evaluated on the pillars of innovation, inspiration, and integrity, represent the cutting edge of the natural products industry, the org says.

Gail Hollander, CMO, who previously announced her intent to retire, will remain with the organization in an advisory role until April 30.

The acquired company's pressed paperboard tray products are designed for ovenable applications including bakery items.

This update is particularly relevant for bakery applications, where demand for natural green tones continues to grow and often depends on access to natural blue color solutions. 

The acquisition aims to position the snack brand to scale further across North America while expanding into new international markets.

The new pizza features savory Korean BBQ-style sauce; marinated beef; carrots, caramelized onions, and green onions; and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
