PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, has announced the finalists for the Technology Excellence Awards, taking place at PACK EXPO Las Vegas from September 29–October 1, 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Produced by PMMI, PACK EXPO Las Vegas features 2,300 packaging and processing suppliers, serving more than 40 vertical markets, across more than one million net sq. ft. of exhibition space.
The Technology Excellence Awards honor the most innovative technologies in packaging and processing, being shown for the first time at a PACK EXPO event. This year, 80 suppliers submitted nominations, which were reviewed by a panel of industry professionals and narrowed down to three finalists in each of four categories. Panelists include Bob Larkin, owner, BL.PKG LLC; David Smith, principal, David S Smith & Associates; Diane Wolf, independent food and beverage consultant; and Robert Champion, president, InnoFlex Solutions LLC.

Finalists for the 2025 Technology Excellence Awards in the Food/Beverage category include Efficient Agitation (EA) Retort, JBT Corporation (Booth N-8612); Senzani U-Seal, Senzani Brevetti SPA (Booth SU-26041); and HyperBarrier Paper, COPAR SMART PACKAGING (Booth SU-30098A).
