KPM Analytics has launched a new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) division focused on integrating its vision inspection and foreign material detection technologies into food production equipment. The division will work directly with equipment manufacturers to embed KPM’s systems, including AI-driven applications, into production lines.
KPM’s product brands—EyePro System, Sightline Process Control, and Smart Vision Works—bring more than 50 years of combined experience in vision inspection and 17 years in AI model development for food applications. The company has previously collaborated with equipment manufacturers, machine integrators, and engineering firms to incorporate inspection capabilities into food processing systems.
The OEM division will pursue partnerships across baking, meat and poultry, confectionery, and root crop sectors. Applications include monitoring product consistency, identifying defects, and detecting foreign materials. Systems can be configured to alert personnel or trigger automated responses to reduce waste and downtime.
“Our experience in vision inspection has positioned us as a reference in the industry,” says Andrea Bertuolo, managing director for vision inspection systems. “Embedding our systems into OEM equipment helps manufacturers deliver tools that support processors from day one.”
“Our OEM division gives equipment manufacturers and integrators a direct pathway to incorporate KPM’s inspection expertise into their designs,” says Brian Mitchell, chief executive officer.
KPM will exhibit at the International Baking Industry Expo (IBIE) 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. OEMs can visit Booth #535 to discuss integration opportunities. Demonstrations will include a system combining vision inspection with an online near-infrared moisture analyzer.
