Krusteaz introduces Honey Cornbread Batter

Krusteaz has introduced a new refrigerated Honey Cornbread Batter, now available in the refrigerated dough section at select Kroger and Walmart locations.
The batter is designed to deliver a scratch-like texture without the need for measuring or mixing. Each pouch yields one 8x8 inch pan or eight muffins. The product joins Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Cupcake in Krusteaz’s refrigerated batter lineup.
“Cornbread is comfort food at its finest—warm, nostalgic, and a little sweet, but not everyone has the time to bake from scratch,” says Andy Heily, president and CEO of The Krusteaz Company. “With our new Honey Cornbread Batter, we’re excited to give Makers the freedom to do it all—from baking a simple, delicious pan to reinventing a classic with their own creative twists this fall.”
The batter format is intended to support customization, such as adding jalapeños and cheddar to cornbread or topping brownies with caramel. The product contains no artificial preservatives and remains fresh for up to seven days after opening.
