Nature Valley rereleases snack in honor of 'Stranger Things'
The '80s peanut butter treat gets a retro revival inspired by the Netflix show.

Get ready to dust off the Walkman, turn back the clock and maybe open a rift or two, says General Mills: nostalgic Nature Valley Peanut Butter Boppers from the 1980s have reappeared, and this time, they’ve made their way to Hawkins, IN.
The retro product is reemerging online, with a limited-edition drop of Nature Valley Fudge Chip Peanut Butter Boppers wrapped in Stranger Things-inspired packaging.
The snack returns in its original recipe, reportedly featuring a creamy peanut butter center rolled in crisp rice cereal and fudge chips for a rich, crunchy-meets-creamy bite. Consumers can snag this nostalgic treat along with a shirt and a special recipe card in a limited-edition kit for $19.87 exclusively at sreppob.com ("Boppers" spelled backward in a wink and nod to the Upside Down), while supplies last.
“We’re beyond excited to bring Boppers back from the 1980s and into fans’ hands one more time,” says Ray Joncas, VP, bars business unit at General Mills. “The beloved creamy, indulgent peanut butter-filled snack is the perfect match for streaming the new season, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy!”
Consumers who miss the launch can still find the DIY Boppers recipe on NatureValley.com so everyone can recreate the nostalgia at home using Nature Valley Oats N Honey Crunchy Bars or Granola.
