Goodcents releases LTO honey habanero bread
The new offering is available to try at all locations through March.

Goodcents, the fast-casual restaurant brand known for its signature Founder's Pride bread, has announced the launch of its new Honey Habanero bread. Developed in partnership with flavor company Spiceology, this new bread offering delivers a blend of heat and sweetness, tapping into the trending "swicy" (sweet and spicy) flavor profile. It is now available to try at all Goodcents locations through March.
The Honey Habanero bread offers a kick of heat balanced with a touch of sweetness, designed to complement Goodcents' traditional deli meats and ingredients. This marks the first time Goodcents has added a new flavor to its line of proprietary Founder's Pride bread since the 2018 limited-time only release of its Garlic Pepper bread, which has become a permanent addition.
"We started developing this flavor last summer to add some extra heat to our menu for the cold winter months," says Joe Bisogno, founder and CEO of Goodcents. "The Honey Habanero is a new favorite that still speaks to our loyal customers who know and love our bread, but with an added, subtle spice that kicks things up a notch. This flavor is the result of an arduous testing process that included only the highest-quality ingredients, and based on the incredible feedback from our pilot testing, this is exactly what our customers want."
Reportedly known for fresh ground flavors, Spiceology played a key role in developing the new Honey Habanero bread with Goodcents, the chain says. By leveraging its expertise in flavor innovation and high-quality ingredients, Spiceology helped Goodcents tap into the popular "swicy" culinary trend.
"The 'swicy' trend is a very exciting development in the food scene right now. Our collaboration with Goodcents to infuse their signature bread with our well-balanced Smoky Honey Habanero blend is a fantastic way to bring this innovation to their customers," says Darby McLean, CEO of Spiceology. "Our partnership perfectly showcases how high-quality spices can elevate beloved classics."
The launch of the Honey Habanero bread is part of Goodcents' larger commitment to introducing new menu items while maintaining the quality and trustworthiness customers expect, it says.
