Interstate Bakeries Corp. began distribution of its Wonder, Home Price and Nature’s Pride breads in northern Texas.
The expansion in distribution follows IBC’s recent relocation of its headquarters to Irving, Texas, from Kansas City, Mo. Along with the re-introduction, IBC will donate 5,000 loaves of bread to the North Texas Food Bank.
“The strong support of our retail partners coupled with an increase in consumer demand underscores the significant market opportunity in the region,” says Charlie Smith, senior vice president and general manager of IBC’s Texas business unit.
