Banner-Day Announces Organizational Changes
Emphasizing growth and efficiency, the Saginaw, Mich.-based company names Joseph P. Day, son of the founder, chief executive officer, with plans to support Banner-Day’s bakery oven systems group while lending his experience to continuing product development efforts.
Banner-Day, Saginaw, Mich., reorganizes its business structure with an “emphasis on growth and efficiency to deliver more value to its customers in bakery oven controls and services, as well as pipe heating systems.”
As of Jan. 1, Joseph P. Day, son of the founder, became chief executive officer, with plans to support Banner-Day’s bakery oven systems group and its continuing product development efforts. Leading the company since 1983, Joseph Day established Banner-Day as a key supplier of oven controls and related products to the baking industry.
Meanwhile, J. Michael Day expanded his responsibilities to become president and COO, taking on a more active leadership role in the bakery oven group with its customers. He will also be responsible for operations for the bakery oven and pipe heating systems businesses. Mike Day has been with the company since 1993, and will continue implementing plans to leverage its agility and efficiencies to bring advanced control solutions and products to Banner-Day’s baking and pipe heating customers.
